Do these recline?

At a recent meeting I attended, the chairs had been arranged tightly against each other even though there was plenty of space to spread them out a little.  I joked to the woman next to me that a very thin person must have set up the chairs.

She replied that it must have been someone who worked for an airline.

Ha… you were United in your thinking. 😉

Ha! Leave it to you, Hilary. 🙂

You know what’s sad? I didn’t get the humor in Hilary’s comment until I read your reply. Maybe I got up too early this morning. Seriously, though, if this was your regular Tuesday morning meeting, the chair setter upper should have known better. 🙂

    Linda — She knows now!

I’m a bit tall and those coach seats don’t have enough leg room to begin with. So, if the passenger in front of me reclined, well, let’s just say that I simmered the rest of the trip.

Maybe it won’t be a problem because I don’t plan on flying again. It’s no fun anymore. In fact, it’s a whole lot worse than not fun.

(Would like to try and meet you on your trip this October. Do you think you’ll have time? I know how difficult it is trying to have time for everything on a trip.)

Carla — We really do have alot in common — we also have decided we are done with flying, if we can possibly avoid it. Whatever fun there was in it, has just gone away, hasn’t it.

I’ll be in touch re. getting together. That would be fun!
