A Looooong Pause!

We will be leaving tomorrow morning for a two-week vacation to Tulsa and then Atlanta.  So, I don’t think I’ll have an opportunity to be in contact with you during that time.

If you visit during that time hoping to be entertained, I recommend any of the blogs on my blogroll to the right and down a little.

Or, if you’d like to read some “vintage Sandra”, please browse in my archives, also on the right.

May God bless you and keep you safe until we meet here again.

Sandra

Thank you, Amy. Hopefully, Gunny’s family and my sister’s family will give me lots of new fodder for blog posts! 🙂

I’ve really enjoyed reading your posts this week.

Are you from Tulsa? I’m from a little community north of Tulsa called Mingo, which very sadly is no longer there.

Anyway, I identified with the story about your brother’s speeding ticket. My older brother had a lot of trouble with speeding, etc… I think his first car was about a 1955 Ford, red/white. That was a beautiful car.

And I didn’t know your age group. When you started talking about the crinoline (we called them ‘can-cans’) I was puzzled – I had assumed you were about 35. Now I get it. It’s great to read an interesting blog by someone not in their 30’s! It seems like so many of them are.

Have a great trip and a relaxing break.

Ya’ll have the best day fill with blessings!!!

Carla — No, I’m not from Tulsa, but it made your comment especially interesting when I read it on my son’s computer in Tulsa, and had just driven down Mingo street! Now I know — that must have been the road that went to Mingo! It truly is a small world. 🙂

Nezzy — We did have a wonderful trip, but it’s always nice to get home. 🙂
