May I have your autograph? Good job, Sandy!

I just stopped people as they were going past my desk, and had them watch the video. They thought that you did great! (They want the recipe.)

  2. Sandra says:

    Hi, Barb

I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I have to say that I laughed out loud at it. He did do some editing that doesn’t always make what I’m saying make sense, but there what’s new with that, right? 🙂

If you click on “printer friendly” above the picture you can get the recipe.

  3. Linda Neidrauer says:

Sandy, I am impressed! Your video is very good – especially the end when you scarf down the “mistake.” Your other recipes in the J-G look interesting. What a gal – good golfer too! Bon appetite!

  4. Sandra says:

Linda! What a nice surprise to hear from one of my golfing buddies! Yeah, as soon as I ate my mistake, I KNEW that would show up in the video. 🙂

  5. Cheryl says:

Very GOOD!!! You were great plus entertaining!!!! And yes!! you gave me another chuckle for the day…. laughing with you not at you 🙂

  6. cathy says:

That was so much fun! I loved seeing you in action. You did a great job. I loved the way it ended – made me smile!

  7. Hilary says:

That was wonderful. So nice to be able to hear your voice and see you in action. You were terrific. And, you’re looking very slim. Thanks for sharing the link. 🙂

  8. Belinda says:

Laughed out loud when you ate your “mistake”. You are a natural. So relaxed and entertaining. The Food Network may come calling.

  9. Candy says:

Great job Sandy! Yes, you look too thin to have made all those cake balls…must not have many mistakes:)

  10. Sandra says:

Cheryl — I’m so glad I succeeded in giving you your daily laugh. And, of course, you know that entertaining you is the MAIN reason I write a blog! 🙂

Cathy — I’m glad it gave you a smile. It made me laugh out loud the first time I saw it — followed closely by a cringe and the thought “Yikes! How is THAT going to look!” 🙂

Hilary — Slim? It must be the support apron! I’m glad you enjoyed it. 🙂

Belinda — Well, neighbor, you know I love to laugh, so I’m glad I made you laugh too. But, I don’t think most of my cooking would make people laugh — more likely, yawn. So, don’t hold your breath on that Food Network gig!:)

Candy — I realllly tried not to eat too many of them, but the scale was not kind at WW this week. I am hopeless when it comes to things like that. So, I probably won’t make any more ’til Christmas. btw, Rex just called and put in his order for some of the rum balls! 🙂

  11. Margo says:

Loved it! As someone else said, you are a natural. If you are not comfortable with the camera, you sure hide it well. 🙂 Thanks again for sharing with us.

  12. Sandra says:

Margo — I’m definitely an extrovert, which means I’m not nervous at the time, I am just sometimes embarrassed after the fact! Fortunately, this time it didn’t turn out too bad. 🙂

  13. Chrissy says:

That was so cool! I can’t wait to try making them! I loved the video!

  14. Sandra says:

Thanks, Chrissy. They are fun to make! 🙂

  15. Julie says:

Loved the video Aunt Sandy! You did great and you made it look so easy and fun to make those cake balls! I may have to try that sometime! 😀

  16. Sandra says:

Hi, Julie! The cake balls are fun, and I did enjoy doing the interview and video. I bet you’d be good at THAT too! 🙂

  17. C. Beth says:

I loved the video!! You looked great, and you were funny too (especially at the very end.) Fantastic job!

Great article too. Those pickle appetizers are so yummy; I’ve made them too!

  18. Sandra says:

Beth — Thank you. It was fun. I’ve only made these low-calorie appetizers once, but was attracted to them because they are a “lighter” version of some we have enjoyed for years. I was pleasantly surprised at how good they were!
