Friday and Saturday, DD and I will be in Nashville, Tennessee for a blogging convention. I am really looking forward to it. Is there any chance that any of you who will be there too?
I am excited to see what this is like. I plan to take pictures, so will do a post about it when we return.

Sounds like an adventure 🙂 I haven’t met any other bloggers ‘in the flesh’ yet!
No, Beth, it’s called BlissDom and we’re mainly going because Jen knows some of the people involved, Shannon/Rocks in My Dryer, Melanie/Blogging 101, Stephanie/Adventures in Babywearing and Beth/I Should Be Folding Laundry. (Actually, I’ve met Beth too.) I’ve read some of the bios of speakers and am a little concerned about what “techies” they all appear to be, and also there seems to be an irreverant slant to some (NOT the above listed ones). Well, I am going as a “sponge” — just to listen and learn what I can. It will be fun to spend some time with Jen anyway.
Lyndsay — I love Nashville too. The sheriff’s conference was there a few years ago, and Hubby and I had the best time. One thing I liked about those conferences was that you were in a city for 4-5 days, so you really had a chance to get the “feel” of it.
Rachel — I’ve been to one dinner that was 7 bloggers up in the Chicago area, and it was just great to actually get to put a face to blogs you had read. If you ever get a chance to go to something like that, I highly recommend it.
Have fun Sandra! Make sure DD behaves herself! Have either of you talked about going to BlogHer in Chicago this summer. It is on a milestone birthday weekend for me. I could be your and DD’s chaperone for that weekend. 🙂 Enjoy Nashville. Hubby and I were talking about going there with the girls for our vacation this year.
Amy — I would love to go to BlogHer, and it’s in Chicago?! That would be great. You need to start a blog before then, so that you can go as a blogger too! We’ll have to see how DD’s schedule fits with that. I hoep we have a good time this weekend. If we do, you’ll here all about it here! 🙂

Welllll, Debbie. Save your envy until after we’ve been there! It may not be anything great. I’m just going with an open mind, a notepad to record my impressions, and my camera! And then we’ll just see what develops.
