A MEME for Me, Me! Oh, joy!

Okay.  ONE more time, I’m going to do a meme, and then NEVER again!

1.  I took tap dancing lessons from the time I was three years old until I was nine years old.

2.  My very favorite breakfast, since retirement (and it surprises even ME to say this) is All Bran wheat flakes with a sliced banana and raspberries on top, with coffee.

3.  I enjoy making greeting cards with the supplies available for scrapbooking.

4.  We have our house cleaned by a company that employs teenage Amish girls to do the cleaning.  The supervisor and eight Amish girls arrive in a van (with all the Amish girls dressed exactly alike, of course, in their light blue dresses and white aprons and bonnets) and they clean the house in a half hour or less.  Very efficient, and quite a sight to see.

5.  I plan to “someday” ask Hubby to take ballroom dancing lessons.  (Don’t tell him — I don’t want him to have time to plan his excuse.)

6.  If our daughter had been a boy, her name would have been Matthew.

I don’t like to “assign” a meme to anyone, but if there are any bloggers reading this who would enjoy doing this little list, please take this as my invitation to do so!

Number 4 sounds amazing….I would so love to see that……

    Great list of 6…..

Danielle — as I said, IT IS quite a sight to see. The Amish are a very interesting society. The rules for their clothing vary a little, by district, but the Amish in our area (and, I think, most others), don’t use buttons! Their clothes are held together with straight pins! Ouch! But they are always verrry neat and tidy.
    Interesting people.

Love the Amish, there’s something very romantic about leaving the day to day hustle and bustle of our crazy lives.
this meme must be going around, I just got meme’d to do the same thing on another blog…

  4. tz says:

is the ‘Oh Joy’ sarcasm? 🙂

  5. Sandra says:

tz — I always knew you were discerning — you caught the “Oh, Joy” huh? I really don’t mind doing them — just don’t like the responsibility of passing them on!

  6. Maddy says:

I have one of these on the back burner otherwise I’d play along. What a good sharer you are!

  7. Sandra says:

Thank you, Maddy. I don’t feel like a “good sharer.” I feel like a “dull sharer.” So hard to think of clever things to say! Good luck with yours!
